General Technologies LLC and its affiliates (collectively "GT") have prepared this privacy notice ("Notice") to describe what information about you is collected and how that information may be used, disclosed and protected when you access or use any of our services via the Internet or through any wireless device that allows Internet access. This Notice does not apply to information that may be collected offline. GT may revise or update this Notice from time to time, so you should refer back to this page often for the latest information. YapLink.com is a service owned and operated by GT through which you as a user ("you") can access and use the YapLink broadcasting service (the "Service"). The Service is comprised of a collection of software and hardware that facilitates the user to reach your group of individuals through multiple transport mediums offered by third party providers based on broadcast criteria that you provide. Upon receipt of your request, YapLink sends the message through a variety of third party service providers. GT strives to produce innovative services to better serve our users. GT recognizes that privacy is an important issue, so we design and operate our services with the protection of your privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information we gather when you use GT's services, as well as some of the steps we take to safeguard it. The following principles apply to the personally identifying information we ask for and that you provide. "Personally identifying information" is information that individually identifies you, such as your name, physical address, phone number, or email address. GT provides users with access to a rich collection of resources, including various communications tools, forums, services, query services, and personalized content through its network of properties which may be accessed through any various medium or device now known or hereafter developed. Subject to your agreement to certain terms and conditions in the Software Use Agreement and/or GT Terms of Service, you can access and use the Service through:

Your web browser;

The GT web site at www.YapLink.com and other GT web sites as determined by GT from time to time;

A third party web site with which GT has established a relationship;

A GT or third party marketing vehicle (e.g. email, Instant Message, SMS); or

Other mechanisms as determined by GT from time to time.

Your mobile device;

Information Collected

Some GT Services do not require any personally identifying information. GT collects limited non-personally identifying information your browser makes available whenever you visit a website. This log information includes your phone number, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your query and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. We use this information to operate, develop and improve our services. Some of our services require you to register for an account. GT asks you for some personal information in order to create an account (typically your name, phone number, wireless carrier, email address and a password for your account) and we will use that information to provide the service. When we require personally identifying information, we will inform you about the types of information we collect and how we use it. We hope this will help you make an informed decision about sharing your personal information with us.

Name, phone number, and email address

Your name and email address have been provided to GT through a third party or yourself. If your email address has been provided, we may use it to send you information about the Service, new features and upgrades to the Service and new services offered by GT. You also have the option to give us permission to use your email address to send you information on special promotions and offers. You may opt-out of receiving these types of mailings by checking the box in the personalization section in your GT (click on the "My Preferences" link). If you have opted to receive other emails from GT (e.g. message newsletters), you can click the unsubscribe link on one of the emails you receive in order to unsubscribe.

Phone Numbers, IP Addresses and Computer Information

If you access and use the Service, our Web server logs typical information, including:

The URL of the page requested if applicable

The phone number of the mobile device requesting if applicable

The telecommunications carrier for the phone number of the mobile device if applicable

The time and date of the request

The type, version, and configuration of Web browser being used if applicable

The type of Operating System being used if applicable

The URL of the site where you clicked on a link to get to the GT Web site. This URL might contain a code to help identify the specific advertisement clicked on.

The IP address to which a copy of the page you requested is to be sent for display by your browser

This information is completely anonymous. This information helps us determine if your computer has the minimum requirements necessary to use the Software and is used to help us improve the Service.

Cookies

Upon your use of GT Services, a cookie may be sent to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. A "cookie" is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer and stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive when you visit a website. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service and to better understand how people interact with us. GT does this by storing user preferences in cookies and by tracking user trends and patterns of how people search. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some GT features or services may not function properly without cookies. GT may use cookies in several ways. We may use cookies to enable interactive features of the Service. We may use cookies to track your usage of the Service to assist us in serving advertisements through our advertising networks.

Transaction Information

GT collects transaction information such as services purchased, sites used and offers accepted by our users. In the event that you make a purchase with an advertiser through the Service, we may collect the information that you provide to the advertiser including information such as name and payment information. As a general rule, we do not collect credit card numbers except for direct GT Services purchased. In the limited cases where we host the transaction process, we electronically package the information that you provide to us (including your credit card number in encrypted form) and transmit the information to the credit card company. Other than this one transmission, GT does not use your credit card number and does not retain or share your card number with anyone other than the financial institution processing your purchase

Information Sharing

We at GT respect your privacy and do not sell, rent, or loan any personally identifiable information regarding our users to any third party except with regards to information required to transfer necessary information you select on partner sites. We hold any information you provide with the utmost care and security, and will not use it in ways to which you have not consented. We are committed to you to make your on-line experience satisfying and safe. If you have registered with GT, we will notify you via email of any material change in the use of your personally identifiable information and give you the opportunity to opt-out before that new use goes into effect. We will also prominently post such changes on The GT Web Site at least 30-days prior to their going into effect. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy whenever you visit the GT Web Site or access and use the Service. We may share such information in any of the following limited circumstances:

We have your consent.

We provide such information to trusted businesses or persons for the sole purpose of processing personally identifying information on our behalf. When this is done, it is subject to agreements that oblige those parties to process such information only on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and appropriate confidentiality and security measures. We conclude that we are required by law or have a good faith belief that access, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of GT, its users or the public. If you have an account, we may share the information submitted under your account among all of our services in order to provide you with a seamless experience and to improve the quality of our services. We will not disclose your account information to other people or non-affiliated companies, except in the limited circumstances described in this Policy or with your consent.

We may store and process personal information collected on our site in the United States or any other country in which GT or its agents maintain facilities. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of your information among these facilities, including those located outside your country. In the event of a transfer of ownership of GT, such as acquisition by or merger with another company, we will provide notice before any personally identifying information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. We may share aggregated information with others.

We gather this information in order to facilitate transactions on your behalf, to personalize and improve our service offerings to you and to ensure that we are compensated by our partners. In order to facilitate your purchase, we have to disclose your information to the Service providers that you have selected. We also use this information in the aggregate to better understand what purchases users want to make and help provide better offers and a more effective service. We may offer personalized services for those people who choose to use them. We may also develop aggregate - but not individual - reports for our partners. An example of a summary report might be "500 users purchased XYZ Service during the month of November." As mentioned above, if you provide us with your email address, we may use it to send you information we think is useful, including information about special offers, new products and services. It is our policy to not send messages to users who do not wish to receive them. You always have the opportunity to opt-out of receiving such messages in the manner described in this Privacy Agreement.

Third Parties

Your personal information is never sold, rented or given to a third party other than the Service providers with which you decide to purchase from. Trend and aggregate data about users' habits and use of the Service is tracked by GT to enable GT to provide its users with an increasingly improved Service. Beyond these disclosures, we do not share your personal information with any third party without your consent, except (i) when we believe it is required by law or judicial authority; (ii) to safeguard GT's rights or property; or (iii) if GT should ever file for bankruptcy or merge with another company, or if GT should decide to buy, sell or reorganize some part or all of its business, GT may be required to disclose your personal information to prospective or actual purchasers or receive personal information from sellers. It is GT's practice to seek appropriate protection for information disclosed or received in these types of transactions.

GT Opt Out Choices

If you choose to share personally identifiable information with GT, you can control whether we contact you. You may change your mind at any time. If you submitted personal information in connection with your use of the Service, you can always change your account information by clicking the "My Preferences" link. If there is ever a change to how GT uses personally identifiable information, we will post that change to our online Privacy Policy and notify you via messages, providing you the opportunity to opt-out.

Regardless of message contact opt-in status, GT reserves the right to send a one-time registration confirmation email and infrequent alert messages to our users to inform you of specific changes that may impact your ability to use the Service.

Information Security

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information collected by GT. GT restricts access to your personally identifying information to employees who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. GT attempts to operate secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our internal security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our users. While GT takes reasonable steps to secure your personal information, no system is fault proof. If GT's security systems are breached GT may attempt to notify you electronically and, by using the Service and/or providing personal information to us, you agree that we can notify you electronically. GT may post a notice on the GT Web Site if a security breach occurs. If this happens, you will need a web browser enabling you to view the GT Web Site. GT may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided to us. Children under 13 should not send any information about themselves to GT. If a child under 13 submits information through any part of the Service, and we learn the person submitting the information is a child, we will attempt to delete this information as soon as possible. Because we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13, we do not intentionally use or disclose such information to third parties.

Information Access and Correction

GT has appointed a privacy officer responsible for assisting you with privacy-related issues. If you would like to change or update your personal information or preferences, please follow the instructions described in paragraph 4 above. We provide mechanisms for updating and correcting your personally identifying information for many of our services. For more information, please see the help pages for each service.

The sites displayed as results or linked to by GT's services are developed by people over whom GT exercises no control. These other links may place their own cookies on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information.

GT may present links in a format that enables us to understand whether they have been followed. We use this information to understand and improve the quality of GT's search technology. For instance, this data helps us determine how often users are satisfied with the first result of a query and how often they proceed to later results.

Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy will change from time to time. We expect most such changes to be minor, but there may be changes that are more significant. GT Guidelines

GT provides users a medium to interact and share ideas with each other. Just like a real community, you may have different opinions than other GT users. The GT experience is best when people remember a few rules. GT sets out the terms and conditions of your use of our services in the GT Terms of Service, our Guidelines, and in other rules that we may place on our site. For your use of GT Services, some of the key things to remember are:

You may not harass, abuse, threaten, or advocate violence against other members or individuals or groups.

You may not post content that is harmful to minors.

You may not post content that is obscene, otherwise objectionable, or in violation of federal or state law.

Stay on topic. Although all groups are different, most groups appreciate it when you stay on topic. If you constantly stray from the topic you may be moderated or removed from a group altogether by its owner.

You may not add members to a group without their permission.

You may not use GT Services for unsolicitated commercial or advertising purposes.

You may not post content which infringes the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of third parties.

Some content may be more appropriate in some contexts than others. GT reserves the right to remove content that it determines, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate and in violation of our rules. For example, discussions or depictions of pornographic nature may be inappropriate if placed in a sexual or otherwise exploitative context.

You may not use GT Services solely for the purpose of storing and archiving files.

If you are unsure whether your content is consistent with these policies, please err on the side of caution and do not message your content through GT Services.

GT's Right To Terminate.

GT, in its sole discretion, may terminate or remove any content, Group or your GT ID immediately and without notice if (a) GT believes that you have acted inconsistently with the spirit or the letter of the GT Terms of Service or the GT Guidelines, or (b) GT believes you have violated or tried to violate the rights of others. Please help us keep GT an enjoyable and positive experience. If you see a Group or content that violates our rules, please let us know by contacting us.

Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy

GT requests users to respect the intellectual property of others. GT has no responsibility for content on other web sites that you may find or access when using GT's products or services. Material available on or through other web sites may be protected by copyright and the intellectual property laws of the United States and/or other countries. The terms of use of those web sites, and not the GT Terms of Service, govern your use of that material.

It is GT's policy, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who may infringe or repeatedly infringe the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of GT and/or others.
